I chose this hotel for attending a networking event because they provided irons/ironing boards upon request. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The only thing I missed for my work was a business center or a designated workspace with a printer.

The scenic views of the national park are breathtaking! The restaurant serves mouthwatering dishes, and the seasonal specials are to die for. Plus, the hotel's location is perfect for exploring nearby cities. Definitely a top choice for nature lovers!
Oh, and let's not forget the "convenient" 15-minute walk to town. How thrilling it was to stroll through nature just to grab a cup of coffee!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The value for money was excellent as the room was comfortable and spacious. The location was perfect, just off the Wilderness Trail Hiking route, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to assist us and their English was impeccable. The hotel garden was a peaceful oasis and the restaurant served delicious food at great prices. The comprehensive buffet breakfast was the perfect way to start our day of walking.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better would be a wider variety on the menu for breakfast.

I chose Haus Salzberg Garni because of its proximity to Eifel National Park, which I really wanted to explore. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the featured amenities, such as luggage storage and laundry facilities. The free WiFi was a bonus, and I especially enjoyed the wide variety of culinary experiences offered at the on-site restaurant.
The rooms were not as I expected. The pictures on the website did not accurately represent the structure, and the room I stayed in was quite small and a bit old.

The hotel was located in a calm neighborhood, which made it perfect for a relaxing stay during our city trip. It was very clean and had a lovely breakfast area with fresh options and the possibility to prepare a lunch bag. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room was spacious with all the necessary amenities.
The location was a bit far from the city center, making it difficult to find restaurants open late at night, and the parking availability was limited. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to prepare a quick coffee, especially after a long drive.

This family-run hotel boasts panoramic views of a national park, extensive hiking trails, delicious regional cuisine, and easy access to cities. A satisfying meal at Restaurant Am Salzberg is a must. Also, who doesn't love day trips to Belgium or Holland?
Oh, I absolutely hated feeling so relaxed and pampered. Ugh, the horror!

Great Location & Amazing Breakfast! During our recent city trip, we stayed at a small town German hotel and it was a fantastic experience. the location was perfect, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. the apartment-style rooms were spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. Plus, the breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of high-quality fruits, vegetables, and meat.
Limited Parking & No Evening Restaurant Service the only downside was the limited parking availability, which made it difficult to find a spot for our car. we were disappointed to find out that there was no restaurant service in the evening, which was contrary to what we read on their website.

We absolutely loved this hotel during our stay! We were impressed with the cleanliness and coziness of the hotel. The hotel facilities were excellent, and we particularly enjoyed spending time in the quiet hotel garden. The hotel's location was perfect for us, as it was close to several walking trails and we could easily walk to the nearby shops. Moreover, the breakfast was delicious, and we appreciated the freshly cooked to order eggs and the variety of food on the buffet. Finally, the staff was outstanding - very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.
Absolutely nothing.

Surrounded by stunning nature, this hotel combines German tradition and modern comfort. the location is ideal to visit both the town centre and the walking trails. Rooms are spacious and cozy, with amazing views and great amenities like shutters to keep the sun out. the staff is always helpful and happy to assist with anything. Enjoy a delicious breakfast with freshly cooked eggs, and take some snacks for a long walk by the small shop down the hill.
Some rooms require walking up a few flights of stairs, which may not be ideal for those with mobility issues.

the comfortable room provided plenty of space and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They all spoke English to a great standard. I loved the peaceful hotel garden and the restaurant served delicious food at good prices. the buffet breakfast was comprehensive and the perfect start to a day of walking. Haus Salzberg Garni was definitely the best hotel on our four-day hike in the Eifel, with spacious and comfortable rooms and a nice view of the surrounding hills. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way! 👌.
